Ms. Brown has been selected as a Super Lawyer from the State of Texas. This honor is reserved for only the top five-percent of Texas attorneys.
In 2004, Ms. Brown won a gender discrimination lawsuit in Federal court against a local county. She represented two female sheriffs’ deputies who were not re-hired after a new sheriff was elected. The county appealed the verdict which was upheld by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In 2005, she represented the widows and children of three men who were killed in an explosion at a BP/Amoco plastics plant in Augusta, Georgia. After two days of what was expected to be a two-week trial, BP/Amoco settled the case to her clients’ satisfaction.
Ms. Brown represents individuals who have been injured in industrial setting, vehicle collisions or suffered the results of discriminatory conduct. She currently represents clients in Texas, Georgia, Florida and Minnesota.
