Kendall Cockrell was born and raised in North Texas. He attended Baylor University where he studied communications and theater arts. After graduating, he entered the workforce where he was successful in many areas of public relations and corporate programming. After a decade of real-world experience, Kendall decided to return to school to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. In 2009, he graduated from Baylor University School of Law with many accolades which include receiving of the Dean's Scholarship and winning two national championships in mock trial.
As an attorney for Provost Umphrey, Kendall pursues justice in the courtrooms of Southeast Texas for those who have been hurt. Kendall sits on the Board of Directors of the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Jefferson County Bar Association, American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
Kendall is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and has been admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Kendall has been married to Catherine Levacy Cockrell since 1998. They live in Beaumont with their two wonderful daughters.
